Experience. Integrity. Community.

Why I’m Running for Select Board

I am running for Select Board because we need capable, kind people to run for all elected offices.

Milton is a uniquely attractive community with terrific people and tremendous assets. From our schools and library to our parks, neighborhood charm, and proximity to Boston, Milton is the envy of many neighboring towns.

At the same time, we face serious challenges that will require thoughtful, disciplined decision-making in the years ahead. We must plan carefully to preserve Milton’s quality of life during uncertain economic times — keeping our schools and town services strong while addressing worsening traffic congestion.

As an attorney practicing law for over 15 years, including as current Senior Counsel and Head of Litigation at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute*, I am running for the Select Board because Milton needs experienced and steady leadership to navigate these challenges — leadership that brings both professional expertise and a personal investment in our community.

  • As Senior Counsel and Head of Litigation and Employment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, I offer over 15 years of legal and governance experience that will add valuable perspective and further strengthen the current Select Board. I advise senior leaders and help guide boards through complex decisions, strategic planning, and financial pressures. I am an even-keeled advisor in high-pressure settings, and I’m prepared to bring that same steady, practical approach to serving Milton.

  • I believe the process by which we make decisions is as important as the decisions themselves. The choices ahead will affect every household in Milton, and residents deserve a transparent and inclusive process. Community engagement will be critical to leveraging local expertise as we tackle difficult topics such as traffic and budgets.  By committing to transparency, sound process, and respectful dialogue, we can strengthen trust in town government and bring our community together around the path forward.

  • I am running to ensure our children have the same opportunities we did. As a parent in the Milton Public Schools, an active PTO member, youth hockey coach, and Town Meeting Member, I am deeply invested in our town’s future and ready to serve.
